Wow! What a year 2012 has been with recent World Tours being successful as ever! The World Tours have had a huge impact on table tennis this year with the Hungarian Open World Tour 4 weeks ago and the Slovenian Open World Tour 2 weeks ago. Followed by the Slovenian Open was the Qatar Open which was won today by Xu Xin of China! Xu Xin trailed by 3 sets to 1 against compatriot Wang Hao in the Men's Singles final. However the 22 year old made a heroic comeback to win the seventh set 12-10!

I had wondered this to... however, maybe its because the top players like Ma Long and Zhang Jike are preparing for the World Team Championships they don't want to send any 'other' Chinese players (Yan An, ect...) so the rest of the World players don't get use to the Chinese style, or the specific match practice.. Possibility?
Or its because the coaches are focusing in the training hall and taking a break from the World Tour events for a while

Also, we mustn't forget the very real threat from Avo Moumjoghlian, who's ranked even lower than your ttdaily post-tally.
He could blow Joo out of the water and become the first ever Middle Eastern Pro Tour champion!
