Item details

Dynamic Friction rubber grabs the slippery Plastic balls far more firm and solid at the contact. Control of your ball with Dynamic Friction is simply beyond your expectation. And as a consequence, it increases the spin rotation dramatically - at the same speed. Thanks to the higher friction you can also catch the ball at the extreme angle, which is truly a professional advantage. Get ready and Win with us !

The Xiom Omega V Asia is an excellent rubber, which has a very favorable speed/control ratio, making it a delight to play with. It excels in all aspects of close and mid-distance play. I would suggest pairing the Omega V Asia with a blade in the OFF- or OFF+ range that has a harder outer ply and/or internal composite layers to get an extra kick. It will be interesting to see Xiom launch an updated version of the Omega V Asia with 5% more spin from a tackier topsheet. Such a rubber would have the potential to be a true game changer. Cons

Fantastic rubber - supports all looping styles - the soft topsheet allows for heavy spin on slow loops and great arc as well. The hard sponge allows for hard drive loops. You can be extremely consistent looping with this rubber no matter your looping style. The linear speed is not super high which makes it good for controlled blocking speeds, but the soft topsheet makes it reactive to spin, which makes passive blocking more difficult and active blocking more rewarding.

Highly recommended. If you find it too heavy in max, 2.0mm.

Xiom Omega V Asia. I played about 2 years with this rubber. I used it only on my forehand.

I think this rubber is quite similar to Tenergy rubbers. Xiom Omega V Asia has maybe a bit harder sponge which provides you more speed to your strokes but takes away some control at the same time. The amount of spin isn't probably the same as in Tenergys but I would say really close to them. What I liked in this rubber also is that it's cheaper than Tenergy and it had a lot better durability (at least for me) than my previous rubbers.

This isn't a bad choice as rubber at all! If you want more speed choose the 2.1mm rubber and you certainly will get it. The lack of great control is why I personally only used it on my forehand to hit hard strokes. But as said, this rubber feels quite the same as Tenergy rubbers.
