Hi Everyone

I have ordered the above rubber and I'm not sure if I need to boost this when I get it like the Orange sponge H3 national or if it's ok to use straight from the pack.

In a couple of weeks I will do a review of the blue sponge from a penholders point of view and compare to the Orange sponge to hopefully release the myth of 'Is the blue sponge really that much better to invest in than the Orange sponge?'

All comments are appreciated

If u ordered from it factory tuned , you dont need to boost. Now a day nobody using booster, too much hassle to pull the rubber out every few weeks and reboost or have another rubber to back up :)

Yeah it says it's factory tuned, that's good news then :-)
Tell me about the boost procedure it's a lot of hassle I have to apply a layer of booster every 24 hours then leave 10 days to dry before I can use it

Nah, one layer for 12 to 24 hrs when the sponge settle back down then apply another layer , frepeat the process for 3rd, for Hurricane rubber , 2 to 3 layer of boost. about 3 days you should be good to go. If u boosted dont cut exactly the blade side, always leave a little bit around for shrinkage plus better less vibration :)

The only problem with that was the booster I used rolled the rubber up like an old school map lol, took 10 days to reduce down.
I purchased the rubber from ttnpp for $98 +p&p (£62)

if 98$ that's probably untuned one, its range from 95 to 110$ and tuned from 140$ to 160$ , This is how i stock up :)
