Hey guys! Here a nice vid about the production of Nittaku balls. It is with Japanese text but still very understandable and interesting.
I didn't know there was so much human labor involved.

Interesting to see. Question is off course will it still be happening this way when we move away from celluloid balls ? If they are going to use other materials I can image they will need other production processes ...
Yes the new balls will be plastic made out of one piece, so it should be totally different from this method.

Never thought that the whole manufacturing process for a ball could take about 4 months long. Hopefully they will making another video when the new ball coming out

Really cool. What a process! I'm waiting for the new ball to be in as good quality as the old nittaku ball!
