This is a review of the blade I am currently using, it is a nice blade and very fast. The Hinoki wood is quite a precious wood as it can only be found in high altitude alps in Japan in mountain ranges. The hinoki wood is definately a type of wood that I would recommend for all players to try as it is a very nice type of wood. As the blade is 11 ply it is very fast but this also adds to the weight of the bat, so it is quite a heavy bat. Due to its weight and speed of the blade it is better suited for players that play from mid-long distance from the table as the 11 ply does not give as good feel as some other blades however other hinoki wood blades with less ply 5 or 7 ply would give beautiful feeling for the ball as hinoki is such a nice wood. So a 5 or 7 ply hinoki wood blade would be more suited to close-mid distance players. A very nice 7 ply hinoki blade would be the yasaka Leo 7 ply and a brilliant feeling Hinoki 5 ply blade is the butterfly Jonyer.
