In Washington DC browsing the TT forums wishing the Goon Squads a warm New Years when I heard all manner of loud explosives going of suddenly... that moment I realized it became New Years.

In Glen Allen Virginia, with family. It's gotten to be a hassle driving up to NoVA/DC for shows and the fireworks. Wife and I lived in NoVA and DC for a decade and it was beautiful when we could walk/Metro for these events. Der_Echte, if this is your first year in NoVa/DC wait until July 4th, you need to go on the Mall (there is a better place and that's the Iwo Jima as it's on a hill overlooking the Mall).

I never stepped foot there... yet. I am pretty easy to spot, there is a lot of me and when I play, I do not exactly whisper. You will know if I am in the house.

Shhhhhh. Don't give away our secret of how we can be in two places at once. Otherwise the goon squad will figure out how we can trap them so easily these days.

I didn't start my tourney life of 2016 losing to 1800s player in 5th with 3 nets in 5th game, got exentded longer than I shoulda vs some of the 1500-1800 crowd, but managed to make semis of Open and finals of U2000. Nothing extra ordinary good, that shoulda been my expected result, but what hte heck, the way it was going for a while, I thought I waz gunna be eliminated from BOTH events.

At least I got off to a great start in elite league at my local. I don't expect that to hold up very long either, I am not quite the class of those I defeated once or twice. maybe I will keep getting wins vs the two OX LP 2000-2100 players, but it will likely go down.
