Here is the website with the scores.
http://japantabletennis.com/zennihon2016/result
But they provide scores from best of 32. Untill know the scores are not ready.
This round Mizutani will play against sambe kohei. If he wins he will meet Masato Shiono probably (it could be tough match, Mizu is not good against defenders). On the botoom half there is seya Kishikawa and Oshima Yuya and Yuto Muramatsu. The winner will meet Mizu or Masato in semifinal.
The other half we have Kenta Matsudaira, Morizono masataka, Yoshimura maharu, and probably koki niwa (my translator does not work well).

Kenta MATSUDAIRA got knocked out by a lower rank player for his first game. I think thats the only upset.
All the big favourites for mens and ladies are there. Best 32 take place tomorrow

Tune in to the stream that luci_rac posted on this thread; there may be some interesting matches going on today.

Edit: LIVE now - KISHIKAWA SEIYA VS a player with last name of MATSUSHITA

Takkyu_wa_inochi

Kishikawa lost... it was a very exciting match, but MATSUSHITA was shouting crazy on everypoint he won, the bastard.
I know it because i was watching live, in the stadium !!! :D.
Other upsets today, include Oshima losing to Kasahara, and in womens, the crowd favourite Fukuhara losing to Maeda

Above you wrote that Oshima is going to play Kishikawa, so what is the truth? The website with the scores does not work now. Can you tell me if Kenji Matsudaira is in the tournament, or already lost.

i read Japanese. the official site for results is here
http://www.jtta.or.jp/AJ/result2015/
click on the left side to get PDF files with the results.
unfortunately its all in japanese, if you don't trust me you can try with google translate.

i posted in French (I am French) on the site above.
I went to the stadium. i saw round of 32 in the morning, i wasn't there in the afternoon, i was excited and wanted to have a knock instead...:)

I wasn't the one who wrote that Oshima should play Kishikawa. if both had won their game (they got both knocked out in round of 32) they would have played each other in round of 16.

ITTV is for international competitions. This is a JTTA competition. There were obviously cameras filming some matches, but they belong to private TV Channels. you can pay to access those videos on some paying sites. If not, after a while, you will see some free videos on Youtube. For example, i saw on Youtube the final of last year (Mizutani vs Jin)

Mizutani defends his title, wins his 7th championships defeating Kazuhiro Chan 4-1 (-9 4 4 7 6)
they were in a different league.
i watched the game on NHK, so we might see some vids on Youtube soon. During rallies, Chan was able to match Mizutani, but in the serve/receive game, short game and 3rd ball attack, Mizutani was much much better.

I'm wondering why ttlondon2012 uploads many times stolen videos; he takes the originals from others and simply covers very carefully their logo!!

He (ttlondon2012) has now 21000+ subscribers and is the number one (the more rich and active!) tt-channel in the world!!
- In my humble opinion, acting in that way, is really a shame!!!....

# e.g. Compare (the original video, below) or look at the post #41 (http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?12092-All-Japan-Championships-2016&p=133537&viewfull=1#post133537)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9i7sJWyFxws

-- Why mate, you're doing all these ???...... :(

My friendly advice is that you don't need all these "extra efforts"... Soon you could be the 1st tt-channel on youtube, your normal work is pretty enough already! :)

I have been watching TTlondon2012 videos for many years on the french forum, never any problem, these videos are great.

I don't understand where is the problem ... perhaps jealousy, anyway table tennis will not win through that fight.

Personally I have no problem watching uploaded TT videos on youtube.
But doesn't this video belong to a Japanese broadcaster anyway? Or has the "original" uploader, whoever that is, obtained the rights to freely distribute the file to the sea of internet? I'm new to coprights and youtube so would anyone be kind enough to explain?
