English National Championships, 15th Mar 2016 - 18th Mar 2016, Hertfordshire Sports Village in Hatfield, England

The English National Table Tennis Championships sponsored by PG Mutual begins this weekend on the 18th March 2016. The 32 best players in England including Olympians, Paralympians and Commonwealth Games Medalists will battle for a place to glory in various events: The Men's Singles, Women's Singles, U21 Men's Singles, U21 Women's Singles, Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Para and Men's Team titles are all up for grabs!

Haha I haven't, I stopped playing tournaments in 2009 because of my back injury. I wouldn't even qualify for this event now, you need to be ranked inside the top 32 :)

It will be interesting to see how Sam Walker does in this tournament.

It's loading OK for me but they don't appear to be showing any of the mens Q Finals and none of the top seeds in the doubles today.

Hooray that we finally got some Table Tennis on UK TV!
Great Semi-final and final matches, hugely impressed with just how hard the pros can manage to hit the ball.
I had a feeling Sam Walker might pull an upset given how impressive he was against Japan in the World Teams.
There really does seem to be such a gulf though between the three pros and everybody else. Tom Jarvis looks very promising, but I would have hoped there would be a small army of such young players.
You need to get some trained up Dan :)
