This is very expensive and totally unnecessary but still cool in a way as it is the right size for a bat case.

I have spent 30 yrs in US military and I have never seen them use Pelican, except for Night Vision and weapons.

HOWEVER, members of the US military are goo-goo crazy in love with Pelican and use Pelican for their personal use in the manner Tiny describes, in excessively needless over-kill manner.

There certainly IS something about over-kill that is appealing, and I think that is why many military members personally use Pelican. it seems Pelican is the default standard for case protection.
