Flick=banana flick ? Is all about wrist and cock your elbow out ward , repetitions are key . So multi balls as much as u can. Tell the feeder serve as much of variations of spin :) and dont forget the 1st small step follow by a big step after recognized the spin and distance of the ball coming at you :)

Your foot, if u right hand , step your right foot just a little bit to prepare for return service , when you recognize what is the serve then fully step into a ball as is coming at your , at the same time your wrist already coking back and elbow out to ready to flick . Now the small step help you to prepare either long ball serve or short :) making a good habit :) just slightly small side way and up a bit .

It's in the wrist. Maybe you're not actually rotating from the wrist as much as you think you are?
