I have actually been quite surprised that nobody has posted information on these Olympic Qualification Tournaments that started at the beginning of April.
A friend from NYC posted information on these events on April 1 right before they kicked off:
This following are excerpts from the email he sent out to a NYC TT Email list April 1st.

for those of you who are interested, this month will be a busy month in the world of TT.
April is the month of Olympic Qualifications.
right as we speak, the latin american qualifications are taking place down in chile--it just started earlier [this already happened but the link has some of the results]:

next weekend, starting on the 8th (http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/forum/x-apple-data-detectors://1), we'll have the north american qualifications up in Toronto. .....wu yue, has already qualified and does not have to play. they'll have 4 canadians and 4 players from the US of A competing for 6 spots.go here for all the info:

and then the following weekend, starting on the 12th (http://www.tabletennisdaily.co.uk/forum/x-apple-data-detectors://3), they'll hold the european qualifications up in halmstad, sweden....dima ovtcharov and li jiao of holland will not play, cuz they have already qualified. go here for all the info: http://www.ittf.com/competitions/competitions2.asp?Competition_ID=2631&category=OG
and then one day later, on the 13th, the asians will have their qualifier in HK. should be interesting--all the top asian players will be there. go here for all the info: http://www.ittf.com/competitions/competitions2.asp?Competition_ID=2633&category=OG
i'm not a 100% sure, but i think all the qualifiers will be streamed live on the ITTF youtube channel, here:
