View Full Version : Big shoe trouble in little China

What’s happening, I can’t find unknown brand table tennis shoes?! Every place has either gone bankrupt or has seized their production line. Now the cheapest shoes are like the shitty Joola and Waldner Flex. Come on China, get dem universal ping pong shoes rolling on ebay again and bring back the glorious prices of 15-20 euros. I miss my Banda Pro Speed, I really should have gotten two pairs the 2nd time I was buying it. Best shoes I have ever used, best 15 euros I ever spend. TT Links have gone bankrupt and selling old stock on ebay with no sizes, GuoQiu GX-1003 is a joke (I had to return them), it’s over people, it’s damn over!
I need that sexy cheap gummy rubber back in my life, phenomenal grip, perfect simulation of bare foot running, great for heel and toe, and………discontinued :-|
I don’t want to buy overpriced Mizuno or Lil Nigs. There’s got to be something, somewhere from somebody who is selling some decent price ping pong shoes. Come on people I NEED BACK UP

Haven't you heard there is a Rubber shortage? Some poor Sap infected their trees an they had to be cut down. It also spread. Word is also out there this will continue for a few years. Alternatives using Hemp are being discussed.

Well done guys, spot on advice. Damn it why didn't I think of that. I've been everywhere apart from those sites, at one point I was even searching for indoor shoes and anything non table tennis related. I'm glad they have sizes too, lets just hope they fit. Order placed.

Time to retire these bad boys. They will be deeply missed. Banda Pro Speed...out of service R.I.P

Will show you the new cheap heaven when it arrives

The Manufacturers got smart, changed their marketing strategy. They are selling their production flawed shoes and overstock to China only. That way they maintain a higher retail price to the rest of the world to increase profits.

It is possible that the product is "similar" to a Butterfly Peter Korbel shoe... Unfortunately none of the sellers seem to have a EU 48 or US 11.5 SIZE

Time to make China great again....

Love these shoes, cheap, ultra low, phenomenal grip and I will most likely stock up some more when there is another discount going on. Just can't get the largest size all the time which is what I needed. Well I'm finally happy, I was on the verge of ordering the Mizuno's for x3 the price

Tenergy for 10 dollars?... cant be real
I can tell you for a fact it is not real Tenergy as I have several packages of the fake. The packaging isn't correct and neither is the product quality. Its a ten dollar Chinese rubber. It plays like an allround rubber rather than a top of the line Butterfly Tenergy product. It is neither as springy or grippy. I gave mine to my buddy who just stared playing again after a long lay off due to his back. It fits his mainly defensive style. There are no holograms in the plastic packaging and the printing on the back is poor quality when you compare it to the real product. The stamped name on the front of the rubber is spaced a little differently than the real thing. The blades from the site are also not good quality. The ones my buddy has are not sealed and they tend to splinter easily as the plies are very thin. The carbon layer is more like graphite particles sandwiched between the wood. when the top plies come off the graphite layer comes off on the wood like the sandwich on the back of old rubber.

Maybe you could still find some Tibhar Progress shoes? Pretty much same shoe and used to be cheap.
