My favourite TableTennisPlayer are Ma Long and Timo Boll
Ma Long: he is a very "complete" player.. I like his Forehand Topspin and I learned to play good backhandtopspins after watching videos of him
Timo Boll: He is the only one who can challenge the chinese except joo and samsonov, besides he is the king of spin and variety

i have 2 chen qi and werner schalger i love chen qi cos hes always the underdog and i love schalger because i consider him one of the best server in the world at the moment and also because he can compete with the top players at hes age

Ma Long just pips it for me. Doesn't appear to have any weaknesses when his mindset is right. Have to agree with char987 concerning Schlager. Makes everything look so easy and natural.

All time favourite has to be Jan Ove though! Genius

Waldner is the best of all time, but now my favorite player is Werner Schlager, the cause is their style, professionalism and class to play.

My favourite player is Waldner,the Mozart of Table Tennis.Pure magic

Now my favourite(modern)players are Ma Long and Dan Ives.Yeah

But I like so much also Xu Xin's style,imho one of the most spectacular players in the world.

My fave PP players are:
Men: Ma Lin, though he's not the #1 currently, but it is always fun to watch him plays, love the energy and emotion on his face. The famous ghost spin also adds to the overall package.
Women: Guo Yue bc she has been so close to #1 many times. Her style is also fun to watch. She's got speed and great on both sides. I always look out for new matches. One day, I am sure she will be an undisputed world #1.

My favorite player is obviously Jan-Ove Waldner because he is the greatest man alive. But, I also enjoy Hou Ying Chao, from when I was a piper, and recently I have had a liking to Kenta Matsadaira because he is like the mirror image of my style now.

my current favourite is tang peng cos i'm trying to play with short pips on BH side. i'm much more aggressive attacker than him from the BH using mainly the pips to finish a rally. its funny game if you succeed to realize how the pips work and to minimize the errors
