It's very impressive, The "legend" LGL sounds like a beginner ! I better understand why your serves are feared

good chance to you, Par !

Why would you do this? Doesn't this give an extra insight of your serves to Liu Guoliang and China team?

Just because someone tells you the next serve will be a side-backspin variation it doesn't mean that you'll be able to return it, especially in a competitive environment where even professionals tense up.
You have a point though nonetheless, however the same thought could be applied to pretty much any public footage. Why does the CNT let anyone film them in their training hall? Revealing their preparation for the olympics could give others extra insight as well. You don't have to and shouldn't tell your opponents your strategy, but being open about the competition is healthy in my opinion

This is really cool footage! The angle of this video really shows how much spin and deception Par gets on his serves! I hope more videos pop up like this! It's nice to see countries and nations mix with one another to considering how important and how much meaning the Olympics has on each player.

This is Liu Guoliang here. The amount of spin generated (even if you know what kind) is just ridiculous.

No wonder Zhang trained with Pär Gerell.. He also trained with Shang Kun.. He also trained with Joao Monteiro..
All lefthanders, guess why? :)
Because he is going to face 2 lefthanders in a row ;)
