solid sponges boost better as they expand so much and stretch the top sheet, saying that there is hardly anything sold with solid sponge anymore so you should take the step to get rid of those awful snipe 3 rubbers. Nice euro wannabe's but look in the budget basket and for not much more you can pick excellent alternatives from Joola/Donic/Andro/Tibhar...
Tensor is just porous sponge that boosting doesn't affect it as much, they are factory boosted to make them play more lively and have great catapult. The new 3rd and 4th generation Tensors are coming with swiss cheese sponges and they need to be harder like 47-50deg otherwise they play like mush hence why some people are not too keen on 45 ESN rubbers and mention they feel more like 42deg. This is why when you touch your Focus Snipe 3 and then Tenergy 64 you realize there isn't much difference on the softness. A reason why people still like Tenergy due to the smaller pores however MX-P and some other 47deg rubbers have brought back the smaller pores compared to the big swiss cheese like Andro Rasant Powergrip or BlueFire Turbo series.
Oh yeah and the grip on the Focus 3 sucks, which is why I told you previously anything you get after this rubber you will find amazing the way it lifts backspin or counter loops top spins. Banana flicks will be finally possible.

Are there any decent tensor rubbers with good throw angles available for a reasonable price on ebay with free international shipping? What can I get for around 20 GBP?

Bluefire JP01-03 were recently for 22gbp on some british website about 4-6 weeks ago but then the pound dropped heavily. Maybe try this guy and see if he can do some combinations for you postage wise http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Donic-Blu...hash=item1a1709ae62:m:m-K6HeHYezEhManlKoNZrVQ
http://www.eacheng.net/ - these guys do Donic/Tibhar but not sure what they are prices are like these days. Use to be very cheap. Unusual for chinese sites to offer euro rubber
http://www.tabletennis11.com/eur_eng/special-offers - another great site where you keep an eye on their weekly specials resets on Sunday. Right now they have something called Desto F4 for sale 20gbp. Their regular prices on most decent rubbers are between 24-28gbp or if you can't be bothered to wait just Best Offer somebody on ebay or even consider used Rubber. Donic & Joola tend to be the cheaper ones from Europe while Andro is overpriced on blades and Tibhar is slightly overpriced on both. I actually have couple of sheet of MX-P and they are incredible. Might drop my Tenergy 64's in favor of MX-P because of the great prices.

Look for the 3 for 4 deal on Dandoy: http://www.dandoy-sports.com/rubbers.html

4 MX-P for about 113 €. That is about 28€ or $32.00 or 24£ a sheet.

Get someone to go in with you if you don't want 4 sheets. Or get them all for you and you will have your next set sitting and waiting for you.

Also, you don't have to get all MX-P. You can choose a variety of Evolution rubbers. Like 2 MX-P and 2 FX-P.
