Hi all, I want to buy a pre-assembled table tennis racket but I don't know anything about it. Please suggest me some brands or names or codes.

Thanks all

I recently tried a few, cause I was looking for something cheap but decent for beginners. To be honest, I think it's better to just spend a bit more and assemble something relatively cheap (somewhere between 60 and 90 euro with Mark V, Sriver, Tibhar legend,... and an allround 5-ply wood).

Most premades seem to have low quality rubbers with not enough spin. The best I could find were the Xiom Racket Muv series: http://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/xiom-racket-muv-5-5s

Tested, decided, and assembled a bunch for newcomers to the club. About 40 setups of a basic 5-ply Stiga plus Friendship 729 (1.5mm) serve nicely for developing technique. They're slightly under €30 a piece. I'd avoid premades; haven't seen any good enough for the basic strokes.

I'd second this kind of advice. Most premades are severely limited in terms of spin generation, which might seem like a good idea in the short term but will only hold you back in the end. Then you might think that replacing the rubbers with better ones would be a good idea, but most premades I've seen are glued together so strongly that you destroy the bat when removing the rubber.

If you start with a cheap, allround, 5-ply wood and put some cheap rubber on (or have someone do it for you) you'll have a good beginner setup and you'll be able to switch the rubbers out for higher-performance stuff later on.

Here's a great example - a galaxy N9 with 729 Transcend, $25:

There are loads of examples like this, but I can't stress enough how much better this setup would be in comparison with most premades I've seen over the years.

Good info so far. MyWife, if you are in USA like your country flag says, go to http://colestt.com
An example of a good setup to start would be:

Blade: Galaxy 896 blade $16.00
Rubber: Dawei 2008XP $8.00 FH and BH

Total cost: $32.00

He will put it together for you, he will glue and cut the rubbers. He will even seal the blade for you.

Go to the link on the page for combos: http://colestt.com/combos.php and select your blade and rubber.

A nice upgrade to the blade would be a Galaxy W6 for $34.00. It is better but the 896 blade is still pretty good, especially for the price. A nice rubber upgrade would be Air Illumina ($14.00) or Dawei Inspirit Quatro ($13). The first combo I suggested is really quite good, especially for the price. A W6 with Air Illumina Alpha or Delta would be quite nice for only $62.00. Still quite a bargain.

And by the way, the prices I listed for Air Illumina and Dawei Inspirit Quatro are the prices for if you are buying a combo. They cost more if you are not buying a combo.

But I also see you posted this in an old thread where someone else was looking for new rubbers:

I want to find a racket for defensive. I want to use Stiga. Please suggest me some names :D Thanks in advance

Thanks, Bro. Do you know other names/brands, suggest it to me. Thanks so much

Are you looking for a premade racket, a defensive racket, an inexpensive racket? Rubbers for a defensive setup are very different. Often defensive blades have a much larger head size.

Thank you for your useful info, Bro. I will find out more about products of http://colestt.com. I am not an American but I'm studying in USA. I am newbie at table tennis but I really love it :D I want to choose a good paddle and I've been trying to find info from websites but I don't know I can choose a good and appropriate paddle. Yesterday, I read an article from this site, but I don't know it is useful or not :))

Thank you again for your consulting.
