May be it is easier than before to buy direct from taobao oversea but I still prefer going through a buying agent for the peace of mind. They will take care of everything if anything goes wrong. They take paypal and use very reliable and fast shipping method with tracking. Bear in mind that shipping is not cheap. I just shipped a 3.5 kg package and paid $45. But buying agents varies a lot so it is best to choose the one with 0 service fee and low shipping rates. Usually it is already too late to know because they will only tell you the actual final payment when everything is ready to ship with weight.
