I think UEDA in men's and SATO in women's will win it easily. UEDA is much stronger than his ranking tells. He has beaten Mizutani and Niwa quite a few times and maybe is the real no3 or 4 in Japan.
SATO is very very consistent with her defence and is very good in attacking as well. She seldom underperforms and is gaining confidence week after week. I see her winning again.

Quarter Final

GAO Ning vs LIN Yun-Ju
ANTHONY Amalraj vs KANG Dongsoo
UEDA Jin vs GNANASEKARAN Sathiyan
PARK Jeongwoo vs MATSUDAIRA Kenji

LIN Yun-Ju (15 years old) of Chinese Taipei, the next "big thing" from Taiwan.
Potentially a next CCY

Took a old Gao Ning to the decider
GAO Ning 4121261112711
LIN Yun-Ju 3 141011910113

Gao Ning won 71 points to 68 only, with Lin loosing 3 of the 4 games by 2 points only...

I spent a good time with Lin's coaching staff, met his father, and he is currently full time training (1 to 2 hours academic a day only). Including trips to numerous Chinese provincial teams for training.

He is already the top junior in Taiwan (since 13 years old), and just a level behind the top 3 Chinese Taipei mens player.
He is going to WTTC, so interested to see how far he goes.

His WR of 3xx is too low for his standard.

Imo, his skills is there. He just needs to grow bigger and get more power.
He is still too small and ball is not powerful enough.
