So, he is sued by the Singapore casino in a Hong Kong court. Why not in the Singapore court? Don't really care much about him but how is that impacting the female CNT in the upcoming tournament?

Its just media and attention due to celebrity
KLH is not the type of guy that will flee problems.
He is pretty honest.

One of my mates grew up with KLH and can vouch for him.
so i'm sure he will setting what ever needs to be settled
the money owing is peanuts from what I know

So to me, this timing is just too obvious with WTTC.....

It's common practice that the high rollers gamble on credit, rather than cash. Considering the amount he owned, he maybe considered as mini high roller. Casino has their ways of retrieving debt, esp players from China. Legal court case is not one of them, definitely not for this 'small' amount.

Gambling is a major issue. Being in debt and not resolving it quickly will provide someone an opportunity to exploit the situation.

You don't want that kind of staffs in the team, especially now with all the media attention and what China wants to achieve

In the US, coaches and players who bet on sports are in big trouble, but my guess is that KLH likes poker and stuff like that.

Anyway, toast now.
