ma lin extra offensive

hey everyone, i just bought a penhold ma lin extra offensive, just wondering if i should sand down the edges where i grip my fingers first, or should i do it after i glue the rubbers on.

I usually do it after I glue the rubber. So that I will not accidentally over sand the edge where the rubber also covered.

I've always done it before I glue the rubbers on, so I don't get the rubbers dirty, and I can get an easier angle sanding.
I just used my finger to rub the sandpaper, and get the grip very comfortable.

Ma Lin allows for his finger to fully wrap around the handle with out touching the rubber surface. I'd suggest wrapping your finger and then tracing a line with pencil where the rubber would be laid down on the forehand then you can sand or cut without any problems affecting the rubber. Only sand the forehand side because the backhand side rarely touches the hand. I can show a picture sometime with my TT reviews.
