It's a fast, hard, fairly bouncy blade. It was too much for me with Tenergy or Tensors, but really great with hard, tacky rubber. So H3N forehand, H3-50 backhand. But it depends on how much speed you can handle and how you play.
I'm coming from a Xiom Vega Tour blade with MXP rubbers. Bought the G5 for practice and improving forms and techniques. I consider my style all around offense close to mid distance
I have tested it with Stiga Mantra M, Tibhar EL-S and ended up having 729 Higher and 729 Faster at the moment. I didn't like any of them particularly but the Mantra M was the closest to my style and liking. As AndySmith said it all depends on your personal preferences.
