Since the introduction of the plastic 40+ ball, forum wisdom states that defenders are at an extreme advantage.
Here are two juniors (under 17) going at it in a classic matchup of attacker vs defender.
Background, Joseph Hee from London (Fusion TTC) and Singapore is ranked at number 3 in the England junior ratings. While Gaurav Aravind (Greenhouse Sports), also from London is ranked at number 16 in the England Junior rankings list (qualified to play for England) or 23 on the junior ratings list (includes those not qualified to play for England).

Actually most people say that defenders have a disadvantage because the ball takes less spin.

Joseph is #59 and Guarav is #178 on the senior men rating list so the match kinda had an expected conclusion. However, I've seen both of them in multiple Grand Prix (including when Joseph beat Michael O'Driscoll, who's #11, and when Guarav beat Niall Cameron who is #37), and they are both truly awesome.

Thats some good shhh right there. Very tense. Is he using long pips on BH? the way he chops a no spin ball it seems like he puts a decent amount of backspin. you can see the boys are quite nervous though I bet they usually play a lot better
