In his match against Xu Xin, it can be seen that Jeoung Youngsik is using a HL5 and a blue sponge H3N. Correct me if I am wrong, but i thought bs were exclusive to CNT. Is he sponsored by DHS now and if not how come he can have access to this rubber?

a few non CNT pros are using blue sponge on the FH, he is not alone. I know of Hina Hayata and Jang Woojin and i think Kasumi Ishikawa too. and probably a few more.
i don`t think anyone of them is sponcored by DHS. Maybe they get what is available to them and with a proper boosting process the open market versions could still be better what they would otherwise play.

H3 NEO Blue Sponge has been available for some time now in different shops. In China it isn’t hard to get.

Yep ... it must be the Nittaku connection, since Ishikawa is using blue sponge too ...

@Hah .. it shows the bs are not too hard to play with, and players outside of China are capable of adopting to it.

I don't know of his rubbers but I remember seeing the clip of the final of the Polish open and Jang Woojin was using a DHS blade, so may be is a trend in the Korean team.

Could also be that JYS has connections from his Chinese Super League times... you never know. Maybe I ask his father, he ran all the TT Tourneys in the Korean city I lived in when I was there.
