Remove pre-applied glue layer of sponge? (Yinhe Mars II)?

This rubber (Yinhe Mars II) came with a pre-applied glue on the sponge, should I remove it before gluing on the blade or not?

I have same sheet. Just glue the blade, then put the rubber on and cut. No need to remove the pre-glue.

1. Save your time and your glue

))
2. This works as tuned material. Removal could lead to reduce of performance.
