Moregard was unlucky, lost the 4th set from an 8-2 lead.He could easily have won Harimoto 3-1...

Two questions:

1. How did Moregardh manage to lose that match, particularly that 4th set?
2. Since when is Harimoto behaving like a normal human being during matchplay?

He's probably been on the TT forums reading about how much we hate his screaming.

The commentators offered the explanation that Truls seemed to just wanted to win that set more than play for every point and that made him passive. I couldn't agree more. TT is a "cruel" sport, if you lose focus or initiative for a moment that could mean a lost set.

Am impressed by Truls. This is a very promising match, truls style is awkward for Harimoto.

I hope Trul will develop into another Waldner that would lead Europe to another TT "Renaissance".

I miss the 90s to 00s when Europe and Asia were equally good.

Passionate about TT

Truls is a natural talent unlike many manufactured players from China, very much like Waldner. If properly honed he will surely go places.
