Donic Acuda S3

Hi all, I'm curious does any of you use (or tried) the Donic Acuda S3? And what are your thoughts on it? I use Joola Energy Extra at the mo. I'd be interested to find out how soft the sponge is, how well it lasts and just what it compares to really.*
Thanks in advance*

Hello friend. I have to say that the Acuda S3 is a great rubber, I have used it on both my backhand and forehand in the past.

The sponge is not really super soft as it says, but it is a tad less soft than Coppa X2 Platin. Kinda too soft for me on the backhand, but a really nice rubber :)

hi have had s3 on bh for a year and s2 on fh both have good control and spin ,speed been using same sheet on bh for a year and play 3 times a week so worth the money the only downside is if you play to far off the table not a lot of penetration express 2 better for this type off game

Acuda S3 has been the best soft rubber I've ever used. These soft rubbers are what I've tried so far: Desto F3 Bigslam, Acuda S3, Rakza 7 Soft, Aurus Sound, Omega IV Elite. I like Acuda S3 the best among the mentioned soft rubbers. It has a very loud clicking sound but less than F3 bigslam. Acuda S3 is very spinney and speedy when I want it to be although it seems to lack power when I play away from the table. It has a very good feel and sound- two of very important factors of why I like soft rubbers!
PS. F3 Bigslam is the loudest rubber among the soft rubbers I mentioned earlier.

Acuda S3 is one of the best soft rubber that provide good control especially if you put it on your BH. Its has more power than Sriver FX or EL if you want to compare. It is also more durable.

i have to agree with golfnumeric on both the S3 and the F3 bigslam, the acuda S3 is what im currently using for FH and BH in combo with an offensive blade this makes up for the lack of power if you play away from the table and the blade i am using has pretty good controle too. by the start of the season i switched from a donic burn all+ blade to a andro kinetic supreme witch in my opinion has better speed and better controle. i also find that the rubber is not to soft but soft enough to really feel the ball sinking into the rubber. the F3 bigslam is a very loud rubber and has a loud and strange sound witch kinda distracted/scared my opponents.
