Really excited to see some promising young players like Lin Yun-Ju (TPE) and Kanak Jha (USA). I hope they make it through the preliminary rounds. Also super excited to see Ma Te (CHN), chopper is very rare in CNT on men's side. I wonder how Ma Te would do against Ruwen Filus. Many young CNT penholders (Xu Haidong, Zhao Zihao, Zheng Peifeng) are participating too, I hope they do well. Variety of playstyles always makes the competition more interesting to watch. ;)

Yeah, I hope Ma Te will do well. I am excited Kai Zhang on the international scene. I once played Hi-Lo doubles with him in Westchester!

I thought LSW is already demoted to practice partner after losing her match against japan :p

LOL

I loved to see LSW lose, or rather i'm a JNT fan, and ITO's win was fantastic, but LSW won so many times, she lost just one match and by the smallest of margins.

She's really a top class player. Too bad for her DING Ning and LI Xiaoxia were too good for her in the big events.

Uda Yukiya looks very promising. This is the first time I see him. He's very aggressive and actually has a lot of power despite his small frame.
