Fantastic Quarterfinals Match between Franz(iska) and Filus.

2:2 right now..

3:2 Franziska

Now the head umpire's checking the table after Filus got angry and smashed the handle of his racket on the table after having lost 10:12 in game 5 while having three Game points at 10:7 and leading 8:1 already!

And Franz has done it. 4:2
Some outstanding rallies in game 6 like the one at 5:3

So Boll, Qiu, Franziska and Steger made it to the semis tomorrow.

The matches will be:
Franziska vs. Steger
Boll vs. Qiu

Oh no, Sabine Winter had to pullout in WD and WS due to injury.
So Nina Mittelham and Franziska Schreiner get the walk over to the WD finals.

There they will be facing the two youngsters Luisa Säger and Caroline Hajok who managed to beat Kristin Lang (formerly Silbereisen) and Shan Xiaona on the other semifinals table.

Timo too damn good. Shame no German has been competition for him since Dima. Franzizka sometimes but ultimately he's not the same level.

Yes and no.
;)
Yes, 'cause if one just looks at the results you're absolutely right.

No, 'cause Patrick had today a couple of matches more than Timo did.
In all three possible competitions he played the finals plus semifinals in Doubles and Singles.

He really looked a bit worn out at the end of the day. Wonder how the result would have been if he also only would have played singles.
But no excuses. Since Timo said this was his last German National Championships (at least as long as he still plays internationally) Patrick will try again next year.
