Hi, I was just wondering what companies use to change the colour on the top ply of the blade. This is traditionally occurring in just the lower end blades, so I wondered whether the companies use it to attract the slightly newer players to a blade, by its colourful look. However, does anybody know of any downsides to this method such as: less feel, slower, less input from the top ply of wood?
