TOP 15, in the order of points earned at World Tours, would enter the event.

If DN and ZYL are the only ones attending, I can see how the organisers have to scramble to make up the remaining slots. After all, Chinese women occupied 9 out of the top 15 World Tour list. Szocs and Bernadette were actually 17th and 18th respectively. Hmm.

The composition of the women's team at the T2 Diamond July 19-21:

Ito, Hirano, Ishikawa (!?), Kato (!?)

Will the kill zone still be in place?

I think their tournaments this year are a normal playing format.

According to the official site:
https://t2diamond.com/malaysia/

T2 Diamond is shorter, faster, and more enthralling than anything you’ve ever seen. Players now compete against the clock instead of just against each other. If nobody has won within the first 24 minutes, the match enters the Play-Off Zone. All games in the Play-Off Zone are played to 5 points rather than 11. T2 Diamond turns up the heat on the competition, making it a must-see event for all!

I enjoyed season 1 but felt it was missing the top chinese. This should be great.

Qualification is based on 2019 World Tour ranking, not WR.

The 24 minute FAST5 rule is interesting. Almost seem to favor choppers...given how long each point lasts. But no choppers in the lineup. Would have been fun if Kim Song I had made it.

Seems like a really cool tournament idea! If the matches are posted (or streamed) I'll definitely watch them!
