It's the 1st of February 2012 everyone! The February World rankings have been released by the ITTF and here are the listings below! The rankings were published by the International Table Tennis Federation on Wednesday 1st February 2012.
Similar to the January 2012 ITTF World Rankings, Ma Long and Ding Ning remain number one in the World in their respective Men's and Women's categories. This is the Seventeenth time Ma Long has been ranked at World number 1 with Ding Ning claiming the number one spot for a fifth time.

The January period was packed with International Table Tennis including the recent introduction of the World Tours including Hungary and Slovenia, with changes in the men's and women's rankings.

Korea's Joo Se Hyuk reaches his highest career World Ranking as he positions himself at no.6 in the World rankings. In form Joo Se Hyuk has jumped up one place every World ranking since November 2011 where he was at no.10.

The Men's Top 10 World Ranking has only two changes. In form Joo Se Hyuk who defeated Zhang Jike at the Hungarian Open 2012 has moved from no.8 to no.6! This has forced Wang Liqin to drop two places to no.8. Elsewhere Adrian Crisan has jumped a staggering 10 places to no.24 as he reached the semi final of the Hungarian Open.

The top two best players in the World Ma Long and Zhang Jike keep their respected 1 and 2 positions of the World. Wang Hao still keeps his third spot followed by Europe's super star Timo Boll. Super forehand Xu Xin remains at fifth spot, the consistent Jun Mizutani keeps his 9th spot of the World followed closely by Germany's Dimitrij Ovtcharov to complete the top 10.
Big jumps
Three players to noticeably see a jump in the World rankings is Italy's Mihai Bobocica who is now ranked at no.73 from no. 122! The next biggest jump on the men's World rankings goes to Simon Gauzy of France! He rise into to top 100 came from position 123 in the World rankings to no.77! The third person to break into the top 100 is Wang Eugene. Wang has jumped 55 places from 149 to no.94.

There have been a fair few changes in the women's top ten rankings this time round. This was seen China's Liu Shiwen who swapped places with Li Xiaoxia to take second spot of the World! Kasumi and Wang swap places with Ai Fukuhara holding her no.9 spot. Wu Yang broke the top 10 rankings pushing Tie Yana to nuner 12.
