Hey guys!
First of all, Dan, if this isn't the right section, please move it :)

Then, as I'm a fan of tabletennisdaily on facebook ;) I saw the following video!!

I wish I could have or Kreanga's backhand or Panagiotis' backhand!
I think I might try Panagiotis ^^
So my question to you, after seeing this amazing game are:
Do you know him? Has anyone found some other videos?
Do you know what his equipment is?

Cheers :)

P.S.: Maybe this might be better in the equipment section, don't know...

Yes I know Gionis, he's been around a little while, he started playing defensively quite late I think he said he was 19 or 20? He beat Bastian Steger in the European Champs Team Event last year. If you go to the Interview section of TTDaily under pro player interviews I have done an interview with him which I posted there.

Great match!
But I guess they both knew who will win even before the match..
And Kreanga obviously didnt even care losing first game, where Gionis was lucky many times.
He knew that with his game he can hardly lose to a defender..
Anyways, it was great match!
And WHAT AN EDGE BALL SAVE BY KREANGA!!!
That was just sick! And .. anyone - can you explain me the ball jump? It was like oposite of the spin I thought Kreanga put in there saving that edge..
Pure magic :)

And also amazing backhand at 6:40 .. omg.. just dreaming to have bh like him.. :)

Exceptional match!
Kreanga's reflex and feel at such an age is just out of this world :D

Gionis' defense is dam steady and he twiddle fish with the backhand too! Intriguing!
Thanks Rhydian for the share :D Sorry tho, I dunno about his equipment, probably his old equipment, yes, but not the new one :(

This is like 2009
Blade: Korbel (ST)
FH: Tenergy 64 red 2.1 mm
BH: Feint Long II black 1.1mm

Well in his interview, which is here in the forum he uses this set up, like you said ;)

His twiddling is very nice indeed, he anticipates and twiddles early, but he often gets it right.
As an defender and attacker, you must be good at twiddling, so it becomes harder for the opponent ;)
You have to anticipate (the right way lol ^^) and do it quickly and clean, if not you will have an extremely strange grip ^^
