Which side of the blade for forehand / backhand

Does the side of the blade matter for the forehand rubber / backhand rubber ? like is there a specific side of the blade for forehand / backhand

No. Unless the blade is designed to be asymmetrical, which side is up to preference.

Most people play with the logo side out as forehand. I like the logo side in (towards the palm) because I don't like the feel of my pinky on the slippery lens. In fact, I hope all manufacturers put their tags on the handle butt and just leave the rest bare.

this is very common especially if your backhand style is different from the forehand.
eg fast bh counter combined with big spin fh might require 1.5mm moristo (bh) and max tenergy (fh)

Haha Paddy, on a few blades I got Nittaku Moristo haha. The inverted rubber not seamed to be made any more. Also recently slapped on a new sheet of Magic Carbon 2.0 for old times sake (bought from tt11.com)

due to imperfections during manufacturing process a given blade may be slightly asymmetric. I try to rotate a new blade to see if it feels more natural this way or the other.

I usually use the side of the handle with no lens because i feel disturbed by the lens.
