Vega X weight differences

Hey all,

I just bought the the Vega X to try it out.
It's Max thickness but when I checked the weight it was about 75/76 Grams.

In TT Dan's Video he came out on 72 Grams and LooeelooeeTT came at 69/70 Grams in his YT vid.

I was a bit surprised about that difference.
A range from 69/70 to 75/76 is rather large.

I once bought 20 Tenergy 05 Rubbers for our club and they all had only a 1 or 2 grams difference.
So did I get a fluke Heavy Vega X or is this normal ?

Btw, I used 2 different scales and they both came out at 75/76 Grams

All rubbers have variation, this is nothing out of the blue. I'm surprised you get 1-2g differences between tenergy 05, that hasn't been my experience.

Are you sure Dan and LooeelooeeTT had max thickness too?

I think that weight range is normal. I mean it is not a 10gm difference.

I had 72g for max red Vega X.

I'm not huge EJ but I have been lucky and never had a weight difference beyond 1gm for any rubbers I bought more than once.

Mine at max thickness was also 72 grams uncut.

its not too uncommon. I dont know the reason behind it. yours is on the really heavy side though. most rubbers i weigh differ up to 5 gram.

Same with blades. They can differ alot too. Some brands have some crazy variations (15-20gr). Other brands its very rare to find a blade differ more than 5-7gr.
