Damaged Rubbers?

Hello guys today I re-glued my rubbers fh is dhs skyline 3 neo and bh is rakza 7 soft I managed to peel the old glue from the chinese rubber very easy but from the rakza while I was peeling the old glue it was peeling the sponge too and when I re-glued the rubber it got like little holes where it was not peeled good and the dhs rubber got a little wavy things on the top it doesn’t look like air to me but I want to ask did I ruin my rubbers can I still use them?

The Skyline sounds like you didn't spread the glue evenly enough but try to play with it it will probably be fine. Else remove the the glue and try again. With soft porous sponges like Rakza soft you have to be very careful removing old glue, depending on how much and how deep the damage is it could affect the performance. But again just try to play with it and see for yourself.

If one doesn't mind to use baby oil (paraffin oil) than one can spread a little bit on the old glue and wait a couple of minutes. The glue will soften (depending on the amount of oil and time one get's a slimy, sticky mess of glue that can be removed without damaging the sponge).
