Hi all

I’m just preparing a couple of new sheets of rubber to glue and was surprised by the weights.

H3N Pro BS 2.15/40 : uncut with single thin layer of Seamoon = 63g

H8-80 red 2.1/38 : uncut with single thin layer of Seamoon = 78g

That’s a lot heavier than I expected for the 8-80 and especially as corners cut.

has anybody else weighed this rubber?

thx

Peter

My red @ 37deg hardness was 62g with foil removed. 78g sounds insane, not much of the rubber is getting cut off, also no corners...
So like this it was 49g cut on a 158x150mm head with minimal overhang. Your 78g rubber will be a heavy bugger, well over 60g I think.

It’s glued on now so I’ll weigh it when cut and report back…

Ok, so it’s 59g cut on a 91g blade so 150g without FH H3 which I think will will be around 45-47g = total of 195-197g which is similar to my current set up at 200g and a weight I like as long as it feels balanced.
