Choi Hyo-joo (Korean: 최효주, born April 15, 1998) is a South Korean table tennis player of Chinese descent. Born in China as Yao Yao (Chinese: 姚尧), she became a naturalized citizen of South Korea in November 2013. She represented South Korea in the team event at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics and the team reached the quarterfinals. She won a silver medal at the 2021 Asian Championships and bronze medals at the 2018 Asian Games and the 2019 Team World Cup as part of the Korean team.
