Since Ma Long was not able to defend his points from last years Grand Finals, Timo Boll will now move into the world number 1 position in the new January 2011 ranking! It has taken Boll 8 years to regain
this position that he had back in 2003.

Timo was really aggressive and moved quicker in this match.. He played like god.. flawless.. Ma Lin looked so confused tat he forgot his backhand was using some really silly strokes which Timo could easily read.. Wishing all the best to Timo for 2011 !

Timo played very well. Ma Lin also played subpar. Result? 4-1 defeat. Congratulations to Timo, too bad it wasn't the world championships. XD

On the other hand, Mizutani seems to have been kinda... down... since the World Cup... He played so well there, then played poorly at Asia Games... and here...

Unfortunately I might say he is the only one on the top Chinese level. I want to see more diversity, not by Chinese starting sucking, but by the rest of world playing great
