Many old World-class players seem to be there according to ITTF. For example, Fujie Eguchi from Japan who is now playing in the Age 80-84 category, has won the World Championships 1957, in Stockholm. There are even participants who are over 100 years old!
I've also noticed Mikael Appelgren and Philippe Saive but I'm sure there are more well-known veterans.

Hehee, yes, thank you so much for this site!
Now I can follow one woman that I have played with and I knew she went in there..
Too bad I am not sure of her name.
Probably Iveta Kuckova, but not sure, she didnt seem like 50-59 years.
But hell she was good.. She read all my reverse serves without any trouble, her serves were so good, disquised, I never knew whats in there, chop or side or what..
And also he normal push was soooo backspinned that even with my mighty forehand I had lot of trouble topspinning it..
I am really curious how well will she do :)

Yeah there a lot from my club SISU/MBK who are anticipating! Top player would be Claus Jørn Pedersen and he is one of the favourites to win the group 60-64 years old. I will cheer for them all week :)

Group 13 [60-64] Mr Ling Ting Sik who will be playing singles and doubles is a local TT equipment supplier in Malaysia. The guy who gave you the pricing for your Viscaria blade. :)

Hey Azlan.. Does this friend of yours have a website? Are blades cheaper in Malaysia? just curious..

Unfortunately, he does not buddy. But he does take orders from abroad, normally from South East Asia region. So, if you're from other countries (not SE Asia), the postage can be quite expensive. But for me as a local, I can still bargain to get the best price out of him :), usually is cheaper, and he might even throw in some free stuff (the little TT accessories) :)
