I think Liu Shiwen should have been in the team from the start, she's way better than Li Xiaoxia.

Perhaps P is for Practical Joker. You need one on every good team, right? :)

I think he's a reserved player in case one of them gets injured.

So what does this exactly mean?
Its only about the team competition?
If someone gets injured, they will play instead, but no matter for singles, if Wang Hao gets injured, he is out from singles, right?
Same for Ding Ning for example.. ?

All the teams have the right to bring such a "P" player. But let's just hope nobody gets injured, Chinese or not Chinese.

How does this work?
If ZJK or Wang Hao is injured, then Ma Long will play singles? Or does XX become the first in line to play singles?

I think it will be done according to the world ranking. Ma Long will play the individual and Xu Xin will be playing for the team event.
