Yes, good luck Timo, I think this is the last real chance to get some olympic medal in singles..
Although I dont think he will be able to make it, unless he shows some great form!
According to seedings he shall meet Zhang in the semifinals, if he can beat Chuang in quarters, will be tough.

Translation (short): (W=Woman, T=Timo Boll)
W: Germany's best table tennis player has a hard competition internationally
T: The first 5 on the ranking are Chinese, and I'm 6th.
W: Timo has tested the Chinese for 10 years, in singles and teams, but still, there's not enough to cheer about.
T: We won't give up and I'll try again in London.
W: At the Beijing Olympics Germany plays against Japan in the semi final for a ticket to the final. Timo completes the game with his left hand.
T: At that point we were certain of an Olympic medal. It felt like "all limits were gone". I never experienced that feeling before and cried.
W: But again, China wins the final. And in singles, the multiple times European champion hasn't won a medal yet, after competing in 3 Olympics.
T: I've learned from Beijing and I hope I'll make it this time.
