Today on the 14th July 2012 (16hrs CET) the European giants Germany and Sweden will clash in an European Qualification Tournament. AS this event is 2 weeks prior to the London 2012 Olympics the encounter is known as "the Olympic Test".

Germany's head coach Jorg Rosskopf said this is great preparation for both teams as the London 2012 Olympics is only two weeks away (mytischtennis.de).

I think it is sad Person is injured and hopefully he will make it to the olympics. But considering the warm up matches I think Germany will dominate.

A full German team and with the Swedish missing Persson, I would say the Germans will take this one. Tough for the Swedes. :)

I agree guys, I think Germany will win this. It's a shame Jorgen is injured, I hope he recovers for London! I hope we get videos from this event to. I would like to see Timo's performance. I'm routing him for the Olympics! :)

So I didnt see anything online, but Timo said on his fb page:

Das Spiel heute gegen Schweden war ein recht deutliches 3:0. Ich hatte zwar etwas Probleme zu Beginn gegen Lundqvist meinen Rhythmus zu finden, aber danach hatte ich ihn sicher im Griff. Die letzten Wochen hartes Training haben aber auch Spuren hinterlassen. Richtig schnell und spritzig war ich noch nicht. Aber das muss ich auch erst am 30.7. sein!


As far as I understand, Germany won easy 3:0, Timo had some problems catching up his Rhythm, but then he got it and beat Lundqvist..
And also said he is not 100% ok, but he has to be at 30.7. to be fit..
Hopefully he will be ;)
