Been a lurker for some time here, but seeing kababayans prompted me to post. I'm also from the Philippines, specifically form Baguio. I'd say the table tennis scene in the Philippines is still playing catch up to other sports like badminton. Hopefully this will change gradually.

Dapat ito ang ipromote natin na sport keysa dun sa basketball.. wla ksi tayong height pagdating sa basketball, volleyball. etc.. eh sa table tennis dun cguro tsak na makalahok especially sa olympics.. may kakayahan tayo kulang lang sa push ng community tska ng gobyerno natin.. Nde naman ganun cguro kamahalan ng equipment sa table tennis dba.. kaya i dont see na magexcel ang pinoy sa table tennis.
