There will be 4 groups, each containing 4 players, which will play each other to reach 1st or 2nd position in group to go to the draw.

I bet Liu Shiwen will want to get this one so much! She will give no excuses to anyone!

Also Ariel Hsing will want to show that taking 2 games from Li Xiaoxia was no coincidence and she will want to cause some huge upset! Feng Tianwei after getting bronze in olympics will want to show what shes got too!

This can be pretty good tournament, so - now - guess, who will win?

Aaand of course, my vote goes to Liu Shiwen and I really want her to win!!!

So I found something about history of Women´s World Cup..
It started in 1996 and guess what? It was NEVER EVER won by another than CHINESE!
That doesnt sound very popular..

6th for Guo Yue and Jiang Huajun.
And 5th for Feng Tianwei, Li Jiao and Victoria Pavlovich

Best results:
Liu Shiwen was at world cup just once - and WON
Tie Yana was there 10 times and best result was last year when she got 3rd place!
Feng Tianwei´s best is also 3rd place, she got that 2008, last year she got 4th, when she lost to Tie Yana for 3rd.
Guo Yue for a Chinese was not very succesfull. From the 5 times she participated, 2 times she was eliminated in quarterfinals in 2005 and 2008, 2 times she was 3rd in 2007 and 2010 and her best result was in 2009 when she lost in the final to Liu Shiwen. So we might get some history repeating, lol.
So, thats some statistics, now just wait till tomorrow for the tournament start!!!

Anyways, Daniela Dodean is fighting pretty hard now with Dang Ye Seo, leading 3:2!!! Yeah!

And Daniela Dodean won 4:2!!!
WELL DONE considering she was 0:2 down and things were not looking well with her!

Bad news to Guo Yue, which forfit her match with Yu Mengyu W.O. due an injury..
So there is only one chinese left!

So this is interesting.. Samara Elizabeta loses 4:0 to Jiaduo Wu, to beat Jiang Huajun and Feng Tianwei (!!!!) 4:2 and 4:1!!

Now Jiaduo Wu is fighting for her chance to play in play off with Jiang Huajun, not working very well, she is 1:2 down.. and looking most likely like it will go 1:3..
