How can they make an Asian team without any Chinese players?
Maybe they are too powerful :D

Li Ping is Chinese you know. For the rest, the CSL schedule is compacted due to the Olympics so those players are very busy with league play right now. Joo is absent too, and he plays in the CSL.

Boll is not here either (German league plays tomorrow.)

He basically plays for Hong Kong which is like a separate country to China after Britain took it as a colony
but they still count as Chinese, when I said Chinese in the previous post I actually meant from China

Are we talking about the same Li Ping? I'm talking about this guy :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3ubYjMMTp4
He hasn't played any ITTF tournaments for Hong Kong, which is usually why CNT players switch to other countries. (so they can have an international career.)

Xi Ping is Chinese. He plays for China. Not Hong Kong. He has appeared in one or two tournaments in the past in some of the big tournaments for China. Jiang tianyi is a Hong Kong player.

I am glad they let Li Ping play. Its good to see some of the not really famous Chinese players have a chance to play on an international level. Li Ping isn't really athletic or anything, but he has a very elegant game. Looks pretty similar to Kong Linghui's game. And he happens to be one of the top players who doesn't really get to represent China in the big tournaments.

Adrien Mattenet plays so terribly... Every single attempt to backhand topspin failed and he doesn't even manage to hit the ball let alone get it on the table. It's ridiculous at this level... In the second match I think second set at 10-11 he did this forehand topspin once or twice then he missed again lol and he collapsed on the floor in a stupid sort of way lol, what a fail.

Oh and Michael Maze throwing a racket on the floor again.

Yes and Maze showing his "great" attitude again.. throwing the bat away due to his own inability..What a great player he is .. lol ..
