Yes you heard it! This super tournament will be with a sandpaper bat with a total prize money of $100.000. The tournament is being held on the 7th - 8th of February 2011.

3 more players have been announced in the World Championship of Ping Pong.
So far players participating are:
- Paul Drinkhall. England
- Marcos Madrid, Mexico
- William Henzell, Australia
- Mickael Appelgren, Sweden
- Thai Leibovitz, Israel
- Trevor Runyan, USA
- Michel Martinez, France
- Ernesto Ebuen, Philippines
- Maxim Shmyrev, Russia
Total prize money awarded at the 2011 WCPP will be over $100,000 USD, all participants will receive cash prizes.
The only eligible candidates to receive the prize money will be the 16 contestants approved by the WCPP board. To be reviewed for considerations please submit the attached registration document. Players will be chosen and seeded at the discretion of the board no later than November 1st 2010.
The champion of Bracket A will compete against the champion of Bracket B in “The Classic” for a grand prize of $41,000 USD. The second place finisher will receive $7,000. The contestants that finish third and fourth will receive prizes of $6,000 and $4,000 USD respectively. Contestants that finish 5th-16th will receive $2,625 each.
The winning team members of the “Marco Polo Cup” will receive a prize of $1,000. Team members of the losing team will receive $350.
