I would like to share my experience on making a Hurricane King by myself.
I used the laser cutting to cut the shape of the blade and stick the five PLY wood together.
The total cost of one blade is less then 15 pound

I have more than 80 blades, making this blade is just for fun. I don't know the original method to stick the 5 ply of wood. I just use some normal glue to stick it together which made the hand feeling wasn't that good. I made those blades together with some of my friends. One of them tried and said the blade was a bit heavy but the power was good.
