Hi guys, I have one problem.
I found one weird thing on one site. It's called professional tenergy. I use tenergy rubbers since they are out and now I see this and I think this is a big lie. Has anyone tried something like this and did you feel difference? Here is link http://prott.vip020.net/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=Protenergy

Ta verzija je koriste profesionalci, kvalitetnija je od komercijalne verzije - isto kako kod kineske gume.

KJANKO said: That version is used by professional players and it has better quality than normal version - same as chinese rubbers

My response: Yes but how haven't I heard of that never and nowhere, it should be mentioned on butterfly offical site if it is real?

BTW tenergy rubbers are made for professionals, there shouldn't be pro versions!

Thanks for the translations guys - interesting post.... here is my two cents - I know a player in the top 10 (wont mention his name) personally, who sends me his rubbers every now and then. Apart from the boosting, they do not appear to be that much different to be honest. In fact, he said he could play with any tenergy bought from any butterfly shop, after it was boosted in exactly the same way he likes them boosted.

You can of course not feel a difference, when you are not a top player. Timo Boll plays pro Tenergy, he might be able to make a little more spin, and a little more speed. This is legit.

Don't be that sure about it. Timom Boll has said (in his autobiography), that he uses normal Tenergy rubbers exactly like the ones you could buy at any butterfly store...

I thought he said his rubbers are heavier than normal, and he seemed to know exatly how heavy (FH 74g and BH 72g or something like that).

I agree with this information, if you boost a new Tenergy it will play very good. If it is boosted properly and specific to how the player likes it then it will be fine. I know of a player who is the best in his National Team and he preferred two layers of boost on his backhand and 1 on his forehand.

Tenergy is a very high quality rubber and its very consistent.

i thought that the difference between those rubbers is the quality. when they do a rubber the rubber is evaluated imagine in A+, A, A-, B+...etc. timo boll or japonese players get the A+, other players of butterfly gets the A or A-, and we receve the rest. the A+ it is the center of all rubber in the chemistry. the more far form center less quality.
