Chinese rubbers are also, usually tacky. They grip the ball as a result of the tackiness. The tackiness is why you might hit the ball long on a loop if you are not used to Chinese rubbers. Euro/Japanese rubbers are usually non-tacky but grippy. Chinese rubbers also usually weigh more, and use harder sponge.
