We are all waiting for 2014 world team table tennis championships which as is known to be held on 28 April to 5 May. Team table tennis competitions are a special event with its own specifics, tension, psychology and drama. Here the video of team tt called "Dreaming of Tokyo 2014"

A nice review of the past WTTTC's. You can really see how much China has grown during the past 20 years.

Thank you. That's true. They were beaten by the golden Swedish generation so many times in the past. There were also the finals China against Yugoslavia, France and Belgium. But now they are so far ahead of the most teams and only few ones can try to challenge them. I hope there will be more intrigue at the upcoming WTTTC.

At least let's hope the tension and zest for the victory from the China's opponents will be extremely strong and there then who knows? Anyway looking forward to fantastic play, that's what we love, and if there's sensation that would be crazy....

Great video! A lot of historical footage. You must have spent quite some time to compile and edit them. Do you mind if someone upload your video to youku? Because Chinese fans cannot access youtube.

I really wish there was another country who had the skill to beat the Chinese. It would make table tennis much more exciting and draw in more viewers if someone would contest China.

The halls were crowded with people back then... and the atmosphere there was electric.... you don't see such a thing nowadays ...

Its very unfortunate that table tennis is a dying sport in most of the countries except a few Like China and Japan
